Codex App Hotkeys

In the thread composer, type `/`, then select a command from the list or keep typing to filter. Available commands vary based on your environment and access.

The documented slash commands are `/feedback`, `/mcp`, `/plan-mode`, `/review`, and `/status`. Enabled skills can also appear in the slash command list.

In the thread composer, type `$` to explicitly invoke skills.

Worktrees are created in a different directory and only inherit the files that are checked into Git. Depending on your dependencies and tooling, you may need to run setup scripts with a local environment, or work in the regular local project instead.

If you started a thread with the wrong target by accident, cancel the current run and press the Up Arrow key in the composer to recover your previous prompt.
