Dropover Hotkeys

Dropover shelf keyboard shortcuts can only be invoked once the cursor intersects with the shelf. They are enabled by default. If you want to turn them off, open Dropover's preferences and uncheck "Shelf actions keyboard shortcuts" in the Advanced tab.

Yes. Since Dropover 4.15, you can customize both global and window-specific keyboard shortcuts. The keyboard shortcuts screen lets you enable or disable individual shortcuts and assign your own key combinations. Click a shortcut control to enter a new combination, press Esc to cancel, or uncheck the box to disable it.

In Dropover 5.2, shelves no longer take focus when they are shown, so your current app stays active. Local shelf keyboard shortcuts now respond only when the shelf is the active window. If you prefer the previous focus behavior, a setting is available to restore it.
