Framer Hotkeys

Edit, Tools, and View are the most immediately useful. Edit handles undo, copy, and paste. Tools switches between selection, frame, and other drawing modes. View controls zoom and canvas navigation. Layout becomes important once you are building structured pages.

Most shortcuts follow the standard Cmd-on-Mac, Ctrl-on-Windows pattern. The overall shortcut set is nearly identical across platforms, but if a specific shortcut in the Graphic or Component category does not respond, check whether your OS is using that key combination for something else.

Edit, Tools, View, and Text come up constantly while designing. File and Publish shortcuts are used at specific moments, like saving or deploying, not on every session. Component and Layout fall somewhere in between depending on how much you are building versus refining.
